Peach Alexander

In the summer fresh peaches are plentiful on roadside produce stands. Here is a way to use some of those fresh peaches in a tasty dessert drink.

1/2 peach, pared, pitted and chopped.
1 1/2 oz of Half-and-Half
1 oz of peach schnapps
1/2 oz of white creme de cacao

Combine peach, Half-and-Half, peach schnapps, white creme de cacao and 3 oz of crushed ice in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour in an 8 oz glass.

Alternates and short cuts;
Put the fresh peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. Skins will slide of the peaches.

This receipe one is best with 1 large scoop of vanilla or peach ice cream, but on a boat, there is not much of a chance of keeping ice cream, unless you have some room in your icemaker.

If you don’t have white creme de cacao, you can use brown.
